What kid wouldn’t want to be put inside the world of their favourite TV program and keep that memory forever? This summer, Astral’s Family Channel will give kids the opportunity to do just that as the Bright Lights Big Summer Tour kicks-off with a two-day launch event at Wasaga Beach, Ontario, on June 26 and June 27.
Conceptualized and activated by TrojanOne Integrated Brand Activation, the summer tour features 36 activation days at 15 different festivals, events, and attractions, many of which are sponsored by Family Channel. TrojanOne negotiated all sponsorships associated with the tour which will travel to Ontario, British Columbia and Alberta and will run until September 6. At each stop, the Bright Lights Big Summer Tour will feature a multi-media activity booth that will immerse kids in Family Channel programming. Using on-site green screen technology, kids will be invited by brand ambassadors to have their photo taken with cast members from some of their favourite Family shows including Wingin’ It, Suite Life on Deck and Sonny with a Chance. Participants will then be able to retrieve their picture at www.family.ca.

TrojanOne has procured a structure that will support a viewing wall inside the booth, where never before seen footage including interviews, music videos and episode segments, will screen for families. “Having worked with Astral for a number of years supporting great programs like Family Kicks and Summer Chill, we’re excited to build on our relationship and have some fun with their talent through this tour,” said Imran Choudhry, Director of Consumer Engagement, TrojanOne.
