ParticipACTION

TrojanOne has been the sponsorship agency for ParticipACTION for the past three years. With the development of a comprehensive re-launch sponsorship strategy in 2007/2008, TrojanOne has worked hand-in-hand with the ParticipACTION team to secure corporate partners, successfully forging relationships with Coca-Cola Canada, CBC, Loblaws, SportChek and Sun Life Financial. These partnerships were highlighted by the delivery of Sports Day in Canada, ParticipACTION Sun Life Inspire the Nation and Sogo Active.


Canadian Tire Hockey School

In 2010, TrojanOne’s Consulting team played an integral role in the development of the Canadian Tire Hockey School, which included conceptualizing the property and activation plan, the negotiation of a five-year partnership between Canadian Tire and the NHL, and securing its founding member – Jonathan Toews. TrojanOne continues to play a role in the ongoing execution of the property.


Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation

TrojanOne provided the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation with a comprehensive analysis of their properties’ current and potential values, along with a detailed blueprint for activation that identified opportunities for growth. By developing strategy for the foundation and its flagship CIBC Run for the Cure, we helped the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation realize a substantial increase on one of the largest entitlements for a fundraising property in Canada.


Speed Skating Canada

TrojanOne is currently working with Speed Skating Canada on a multi-faceted overhaul of their business and sponsorship operations. This has included conducting a full business audit and creating a new business plan; evaluating their alignment with current sponsors; analyzing the health, visibility and impact these sponsorships have had in the past; and identifying opportunities for the future. Notably, the sponsorship evaluation involved assessing media coverage over a five-year period, and working closely with IMI International, our strategic third-party research partner, to conduct interviews with a nationally-representative sample of over 1,000 Canadians.

Dr. Norm O’Reilly, Senior Advisor
Recognized internationally as one of the foremost scholars on sponsorship and marketing strategy, Dr. Norm O’Reilly leverages his academic experience – including teaching at the Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Ottawa, Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business, and the David Falk Center for Sport Management at Syracuse University – as a senior advisor to the TrojanOne Consulting team. As the lead researcher on the Canadian Sponsorship Landscape Study, Norm brings a broad perspective on nationwide trends and best practices to client projects.

David Corelli, Lead Consultant
As the leader of the Consulting team, David Corelli has shared his expertise in strategy development, revenue generation and partnership optimization on over 20 different consulting projects in the last year alone.
