OLG Presents Music in Summer 2010

Its return sets the stage for nearly 200 community events across Ontario

Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) returns this year with the OLG Presents Music Sponsorship Program, launching at Luminato in Toronto, on June 12th. The 2010 program, created and activated by TrojanOne, will travel to 21 sponsored music festivals and events throughout the province of Ontario.

“By supporting community based events and initiatives, OLG is helping to build strong communities,” said Rob Moore, senior vice president, marketing, communications & stakeholder relations at OLG. “Providing this support ties into OLG’s purpose of making life better for Ontarians and providing tangible support in host communities.”

Entering its third year of working with OLG, TrojanOne anticipates another fantastic summer of building one of Ontario’s best-known brands. “TrojanOne is excited to be part of another eventful summer of working with OLG and spreading the word about these great community support initiatives, while creating a memorable experience for consumers.” said Imran Choudhry, director, consumer engagement, TrojanOne.

With the vision of integrating technology to engage festival attendees about the various ways that OLG benefits communities, TrojanOne transitioned the popular “OLG in your Community. Did you Know?”  trivia game to an interactive digital platform.  Consumers over the age of 19 will be engaged by Brand Ambassadors to visit the OLG tent where they can play to win prizes by answering pre-recorded trivia questions, administered by OLG employees, via a touch screen television.
